My name is Maia and here’s how I intend to realize that vision:
one bite at a time—literally and figuratively.
We both know that’s not going to happen overnight, but I believe that in making small, intentional choices in our everyday lives, together we can achieve great things. I also believe that happy, well-fed people make the world go ‘round.

Each week, you’ll find new recipes and tips for incorporating my Conscious Shopping principles into your buying habits. Here are my five basic guidelines for being a Conscious Shopper:
- Plan what you’re eating.
- Use recipes that share common ingredients.
- Shop with a list.
- Check pantry/fridge inventory.
- Set a weekly budget.
To make this as simple as possible, on the Recipes & More page, you can use the Category search function to search recipes by ingredient and pull up all the recipes that use the ingredient you’re looking for.
